My room, all mine. For now.

Evangeline set down her bags and lay down on her bed. She wondered who her new room-mates would be. There were two of them!

Maggie nervously came in.

"Hi!" Evangeline smiled. "I'm Evangeline. Eva."

Maggie jumped. "Oh, um...h-hi...I'm M-Margaret...Maggie..."

"Maggie's a cute name," she smiled. "I think there's someone else about to arrive, too..."

"Me!" came a cheerful voice. "Hi, I'm Althea," it added, and the girl walked into the room. She was very pretty. More than that she was beautiful.

Maggie blinked. Great she was now the ugly one.

"Wow. You're gorgeous!" Evangeline exclaimed, then blushed.

Althea blushed.
"You need glasses, darling," she grinned, stretchign and dropping ontot he smaller, lumpier of the two beds.

Maggie blushed. Great. These two were going to perfect for her self-esteem...not.

"So, how old are you two?" Althea asked.

"I'm in lower sixth," Evangeline smiled. "What about you, Maggie?"

"Fifteen...year eleven..."

"Cool," Althea said, smiling. "I'm in year eleven too. Maybe we'll have some clases together."

Evangeline smiled, and staretd unpacking her bag.

"Maybe..." Maggie said softly, taking the last bed.

Evangeline unpackd.

"What sort of music do you guys like?" asked Althea.

Maggie shrugged. "Indie...anything my brother plays..."

Althea put on Don't Star a Band by Reel Big Fish.

Maggie began to unpack.

Evangeline and Althea were unpacking too. Althea had a lot of stuff, but Evangeline didn' have so much.

Maggie was probably somewhere in between.

Evangeline was actually just very good at fitting a lot of stuff into a small space.

There was a knock at the door.

"Is it okay if whever it is comes in?" asked Althea.

Evangeline shrugged.

"Maggie?"

Maggie nodded. "It's okay."

"Come in," called Althea.

Michael's head popped round the door.

"Mikey! Go away!" Maggie complained.

"Mikey!" grinned Evangeline. "Who're you here to visit?"
