My New Room

Zachary's eyes lit up as he entered the room. He went to a bed and dumped his bags on it, going to inspect the whole of the room.

Fifteen minutes later, when he was sure that he had looked at everything and imprinted it in his memory, Zachary went back to his bags and unpacked. The room still looked tidy, but Zachary knew that that wouldn't last long.

He sat on his bed, now just to wait for his roommate. He had heard that his name was Klive, and Zachary hoped that he would be good looking.

Klive was skinny, bones jutting out of his skin, skin pale and slightly yellow, big bags under his droopy eyes, bald head. It was a wonder why he was at the school.

Klive entered, one small bag under his arm as he cautiously slid into the room.

Zachary looked to the door, grinning as he saw someone enter.

Klive was looking down, no sign of him wanting to talk.

Zachary tilted his head, watching him.

"Hello."

Klive nodded a hello, sort of wincing back from the person.

Zachary gave a nod and looked down, feeling down.

Klive was shaking. He had requested a room on his own.

Zachary closed his eyes, no longer feeling hyper.

Klive put his bag on the bed, looking around.

Zachary just listened to sounds.

Klive was shaking still.

Zachary sighed lightly and then opened his eyes, watching Klive.

Klive slowly unzipped his bag.

Zachary tilted his head slightly, watching. Subconsciosly his hands got a bit of bluetack that was randomly in his pocket and started to play with it.

Klive pulled out a second pair of shoes to the ones he was wearing; old trainers.

Zachary pulled the bluetack into a string ans twined it round his fingers.

Klive pulled out three t-shirts and two pairs of trousers.

Zachary lay down on his bed on his back, staring up at the ceiling.

Klive brought out his underwear and washbag and put his empty bag under the bed. "W-which draw is mine?"

Zachary looked to him, "Those two there," he pointed to them. He had only needed a little space himself.

Klive nodded, taking his clothes over. They barely filled one draw.

Zachary watched him and then looked back up to the ceiling.

Klive shivered slightly.

Zachary was still playing eith the bluetack.
