Passing Out

The nurse looked at the back of his head and saw the light cut. she put on a rubber glove and got some cotton wool, wetting it and then cleaning the cut.

"Will he be okay?"

The nurse nodded, "He will be fine. As long as he does not go to sleep unless under strict watch."

"If I watch him, what do I have to look out for?"

"Keep an eye on his breathing, and wake him up every half an hour or hour. Make sure that he doesn't go into too deep a sleep or goes unconcious."

"How will I know if he's unconscious?"

"you will only really know if he does not wake up."

"When I go to wake him up?"

The nurse nodded, "Yes."

"Okay..."

THe nurse gave a smile, "If you are in any doubt or needhelp, just give me a call."

Tom nodded.

THe nurse nodded, "Okay, take him back to his room, he should rest," she smiled, going to the side to fill out a form.

Tom slowly scooped him back into his arms.

Jeremiah didn't try to resist, blinking up at Tom

Tom smiled softly at him.

Jeremiah just blinked, eyes unfocused.

Chelsea was standing to the side, watching, worried.

Tom turned towards the door. "Chels, will you be my official door opener?"

Chelsea nodded, "Of course..." she went and opened the door for him.

Tom nodded his thanks, walking through the door.

Chelsea followed, opening all doors for him.

Jeremiah kept his unfocused eyes on Tom's face.

They soon got to Tom and Jeremiah's room.

Chelsea opened their door, holding it open for Tom.

Tom nodded. "Thanks."

Chelsea gave a nod, eyes worried and on Jeremiah.
