Passing Out

"I'm taking you to the nurse!"

Once he had finished being sick, Jeremiah shook his head and tried to stand up, resulting in him falling into the cubicle wall and falling part way to the floor.

Tom caught him. "Listen to me, I'm not having you fall into some sort of coma!"

Jeremiah looked at him, but his eyes were unfocused.

"Okay, keep looking at me..." Tom said softly, standing up and then picking him up.

"Which one?"

"The most handsome one." Tom said softly.

Jeremiah gave a slight smile and eyes became a bit more focused on Tom.

Tom kissed his forehead gently before he opened the door, straightening up.

Jeremiah tried to keep his eyes open and on Tom.

Chelsea was getting worried.

Tom brought Jeremiah out. "Chels, we're taking him to the nurse."

Chelsea nodded, "Okay...is he alright?"

"I don't think so," Tom sighed, beginning to walk briskly.

Chelsea nodded and ran slightly to keep up with Tom.

Tom was trying to get there as fast as possible.

Chelsea understood that.

Tom was there in no time. "Chelsea...knock. I have no free hands."

Chelsea did so, and then opened the door for Tom when the nurse called them in.

Tom carried Jeremiah in. "Nurse, he seems to have concussion."

The nurse nodded, "Put him on the bed please. HOw has he been acting?"

"Dazed..." Tom put him down. "He's thrown up a couple of times."

The nurse nodded. "Follow my finger please," she told Jeremiah, moving her finger in front of his eyes. He tried, but failed, his eyes unfocused and confused.

Tom stroked Jeremiah's hair back.

"Yes, he does have concussion," the nurse said after a minute, "Has he banged his head recently?"

"He was bleeding slightly before..."
