I'm fine, really

"Fif...fifteen"

"Not quite old enough then...well...you need to try and keep your energy up."

"Old enough?" Maria was puzzled.

Virigil shook his head, "Don't worry about it."

Maria frowned, then slowly sipped the hot chocolate.

The door suddenly opened and George walked in.

"Ooh! Virgil! Why is there a girl on your bed?! I thought you were gay!"

"this is Mary. Eddy's sister Mariah. And I am gay."

Maria smiled weakly.

George smiled at Maria, "Nice to meet you, i am George."

"Maria, as Virgil said" Maria said weakly, trying to stop shivering.

George smiled and gave a nod.

Maria had finished the hot chocolat. Her eyes kept beginng to close

Virgil took the mug away, "Sleep if you need to," he said gently.

Maria just noodded, as she began to curl up again.

"Shall I go find Edward?" George asked, looking worried.

Virgil shook his head, "No, just let Mary sleep."

Maria had begun to sit up on Edwads name, but settled back down again when Virgil said not to get him.

Virgil sat on the edge of his bed and gently stroked Maria's hair, lifting the covers over her.

Maria's eyes closd, and her breathing changed. She was asleep.

Virgil kept stroking her hair, watching her, and George went to his bed, starting to read a comic.

Maria was smiling

Virgil smiled as he watched her.

"Are you sure that you're gay?" George asked innocently. "You have a girl asleep on your bed."

"I am sure," Virgil replied calmly.

Maria was still smiling, happy for once.

"Certain?"

"Georgy! I have a crush on Eddy! You know that."

"Oh. yeah. I forgot."

Virgil sighed, wathing Maria again.

Maria began to frown, and move in her sleep.

Virgil kept stroking her hair, making soothing noises.

"I'm sorry" She whispered, still asleep.
