Her hearing aid had gone. She had turned it off. She could hear anything.

Robert sighed. So, she was ignoring him now?

He had no chance here, did he?

Chanel liked it when she was totally deaf. It could make her feel like nothing else existed.

Robert sighed. He had to leave. He looked at her. She was cold. So, as he left he dropped his blazer on her shoulders. He was gone before she could turn around.

Chanel blinked, and looked at the blazer. What an unexpected act of kindness.

Wait.

There was an agenda.

She took the blazer off and was about to stamp it into the mud when she stopped. Instead, she hung it on the abck of a bench.

Robert had been watching from behind a pillar. He sighed. He tried, he really did.

Chanel just sat back down. And then, wincing, turned her hearing aid back on.

She'd need to go back to the hospital soon for the surgery.

Robert sighed, leaving.

Chanel had no clue he'd been there.

Robert was now extremely cold.

Chanel shivered. She should change her shirt.

Robert tried to get inside quickly.

Chanel missed Coco. Then it started to rain.

Robert was drenched.

Chanel couldn;t be bothered to go inside.

Coco looked out of the window, wondering where Chanel was.

Chanel had given up.

Coco got on with her work.

In the end, Chanel fell aslepe on the ground in the rain.
