The boy managed to lose balance and fall over. "Aw damn!"

"Sorry," Chanel said, not really meaning it.

He had rich, intense black skin. And big brown eyes.

"You new here?"

"Why do you want to know?" Chanel asked hotly. Having a fight with Coco always put ehr in a bad mood.

The boy shrugged. "Just haven't seen you around before..." he stood up. He was tall. Six three maybe?

"Ever considered the possibility you're blind then?" she asked darkly, pushing past him.

"Legally blind...yeah..." the boy muttered, grabbing the wall for support.

Chanel didn't hear. She hadn;t been looking at him, so she couldn;t lipread.

The boy sighed, grabbing his glasses from the floor.

Chanel got to a corner, where she slumped and wiped her glasses.

The boy put his hands in his pockets after putting his glasses on and walked.

Chanel was lonely. That was it. She was just lonely.

It wasn't like no one had tried to fix that.

Chanel also resented human company. She was suspicious of everyone.
