World revolves around poetry

Kenny was sitting under a tree wearing black tight trousers, black leather boots and a high-necked loose shirt with billowy sleeves. Half pirate, half victorian and a waistcoat with a pocketwatch.

Saphy was walking in the gardens, in white flared jeans and a black and purple closet with a black shawl.

Kenny was turning the pages of an old, battered, leather-bound book of poetry.

Saphy had silver writing on her arms today, lines of poetry.

Kenny was absorbing each word like it were his lifeforce.

Saphy tripped over her own shawl, practically walking into the tree.

Kenny heard and reached up and caught her. "Are you okay?"

Saphy looked at him and blushed.
"Yeah... I'm fine... oh, shoot! My glasses!"

"You want me to help you find them?"

"Thanks, that would be nice... I can't see without them," she said, looking into his eyes and blushing slowly.

Kenneth smiled handsomely. "Sure. You sit down, I'll have a look."

"No, I'll help," she said, rubbing her wide blue-grey eyes.

Kenneth put a hand on her shoulder. "Please. Sit."

She blinked, and then sat down on the bench.

Kenny smiled at her, stepping forward to look for her glasses.

Saphy felt stupid for losing her glasses in the first place.

Kenny found them quickly and passed them to her. "There."

"Thanks," Saphy smiled, slipping on her glasses and shaking her lightly curly hair.

Kenny sat down next to her and smiled.

"Someone's been sending me roses," Saphy said, tearing off a piece of grass and ripping it up.

Kenny smirked inwardly. "Oh?"

"With poems on them... very sweet poems. But I think someone's making fun of me."

"Making fun of you?!" Kenny asked, inwardly panicking. NO!

"Everyone knows I like poetry and have never had a boyfriend... so someone's mocking me."

"I'm sure they're not! And not everyone knows those things...I didn't know you'd never had a boyfriend..."
