Singing with Emotion

Simon was just playing.

Chelsea still watched him, and more emotion came into her voice.

Simon was looking at his hands.

Chelsea closed her eyes again.

Simon closed his eyes.

Chelsea loved this song, it reminded her of friendshop and how she met Simon and then Tom.

It reminded Simon that all she was to Chelsea was a friend.

Chelsea was so glad that Simon had offered to play with her as she sang.

Simon felt empty.

Chelsea started to sing the last line.

Simon brought the accompaniment to an end.

CHelsea finished sinigng and opened her eyes.

"Chels...do you fancy Tom?"

Chelsea's eyes widened, "I...I used to..."

"Oh...okay..."

Chelsea went to the side and sat down, "But...right now...I'm so confused..."

"Why?" Simon asked slowly, looking down at the piano keys.

"i...I'm not really sure...who I do like...and...I feel all confused...nothing seems to make any sense to me..."

"Well, stop thinking...then maybe...maybe it might come to you..." Simon said slowly. "I...I was thinking of asking Lauren out..."

Chelsea looked up at him, slightly shocked, but then gave a smile, "She's liked you for ages."

Simon blinked, looked shocked. "Really?"

Chelsea nodded, "Yes."

"It's not definite yet...I'm thinking about it..."

Chelsea nodded, "It...it would make her really happy if you did..."

"Yeah, I know...but...I don't know if it will make me happy...not yet..."
