Feeling a little abandoned...

Maggie sighed gently, sitting on a bench, wrapping her coat around her. She felt a little abandoned. She had gone to visit Philip a few times since they'd been back but each time he hadn't been there. Plus, he hadn't come to find her.

Maggie was starting to feel the lack of friends she had was getting to her.

She didn't notice the tear slip down her cheek.

Philip was out walking in the gardens, trying to clear his head. Eva was betrothed. Phin had a boyfriend - for the first time, ever!. Marshall was still chasing after Sienna. And Rosalinde had just come out to the family as being bisexual.

Christmas hadn't been all that much fun.

Maggie sighed, clenching her fist into a ball.

Philip rubbed his eyes. He missed Maggie.

And because he ahd his eyes closed, he walked into a tree.

"Ouch! Oh, sh*t!"

Maggie jumped at the noise and fell off the bench.

Philip opened his eyes. He couldn't see anything. And - even worse - his glasses were broken.

Maggie screamed in frustration, beating her fists into the earth.

Philip jumped, and then frowned. He picked up his glasses, and made his way over to the figure he could vaguely make out.

Maggie felt a bit better after that outburst and took deep breaths.

Philip leant over and touched her shoulder.

Maggie jumped before her eyes widened. "PHILIP!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around him.

"Hey, Maggie," he smiled, relief flodding through him as he wrapped his arms round ehr tightly.

Maggie smiled, hugging him tight. "I missed you!"

"Me, too! How was your Christmas?"

"It was fine, how was yours?"

"Stressful..."

"Oh no! Why?!"

Phillip outlined what ah happened in his holidays.

"Oh dear..." Maggie said softly and stroked his cheek. "I have a present for you in my room..."

"Me too," Phil said. "Oh, there's somethign I need to do before I forget," he added, leaning in and kissing Maggie softly.

Maggie blushed but smiled, kissing him back.

Philip broke away and touched her cheek.

Maggie blushed, and smiled.

"You're beautiful, Maggie," murmured Philip.

Maggie went bright red. "Oh no! I'm not!"
