Not Back At School Yet

Tom laughed. "Yeah. Yours?"

Jeremiah paused a few seconds, trying to think of the best word, "It was a bit...worrying...but not too bad."

"What do you mean?"

"My Sister...has Cystic Fibrosis...and she's got a chest infection. She's just had an operation, that's why I'm visiting her now..."

"Oh god, I'm so sorry!"

"Thanks..." Jeremiah said softly, his eyes going up to his window. He could just see the eiffel tower. "She's recovering well. She should be able to come out of hospital on Wednesday or Thursday."

"That's good!"

Jeremiah smiled, slighly sadly, "Yes, very good."

"Well, i know it won't mean much to her, but I wish her the best..."

"I'll tell her," Jeremiah said softly, "THank you..."

Tom smiled. "That's okay..."

"How's Simon?"

"Ugh...besotted."

"That good or bad?"

"I'm happy for him. It's just so overly cute."

"Mmm...happiness is the important part..."

"Yeah..."

"Are...are you happy...with me?"

"Of course I am!"

Jeremiah smiled, relaxing inside.

"Are you?"

"Yes. Very happy."

"Good!"

Jeremiah smiled, "Very. And I'm becoming more open about my feelings now..."
