Shaven ...

His hair was shaven close to his head, it was hard to tell what colour is was. He had soulless black eyes and a permanent scowl upon his face. He was sat in the corner of the room, eyes scanning across the school rules lazily, with no interest.

Rupert was looking for his sister. But he was taking a quick break to go to the common room.

His skin was sort of yellow or maybe it was grey, his cheeks sallow. He looked ill. That was for certain.

"Excuse me?" Rupert said. "Have you seen a girl, about five six, red hair and very curvy?"

The shaven boy looked up, eyes blank of emotion. He paused for a moment, just staring at Rupert before looking down. "No." his voice was low, much lower than he looked capable of.

"Oh, damn. Where did she get to?" Rupert said, clicking his fingers in annoyance.

The boy looked down at the rules, beginning to shake slightly from nerves.

"Hey, are you okay?"

The boy flinched, nodding hurriedly.

Ruper raised an eyebrow.

The boy looked down.

"Okay. Um, see you around later, than. My name is Rupert, by the way."

"K-K-Klive..."

Rupert nodded, and closed the door.

Klive curled up more. He wanted to be back home.
