Ballet Rehersal

One place she thought to look was the library, so she enetered there, looking around, eyes tinted with red from crying, and cheeks still wet.

Tom was reading in a corner.

Chelsea spotted him and went over to him.

Tom didn't notice her.

"Tom?" Chelsea said quietly.

TOm looked up. "Hey Chels!"

Chelsea gave a small smile, sitting down next to him.

"You okay?"

CHelsea shook her head, "Si just shouted at me..."

"waht?!"

"H-he sn-snapped at me..."

"Why? What happened?"

"W-we were at r-rehersal, for the Nutcracker...and...Si left the room, and I followed...to make sure he was okay. He said he was feeling a bit faint, a-and I just put my hand to his forehead to check his temperature...h-he pushed my h-hand away..." he looked up at Tom, eyes watery, "He's never done that before Tom! Never!"

Tom frowned, putting his book down. "He's been a bit off with me too..."

"A-and...and then...he groaned, putting his head in his hands...b-but when I asked if he was okay...he snapped at me...then...h-he sh-shouted at m-me to j-just leave him a-alone..."

"I'll talk to him if you want..."

Chelsea nodded, "Please...do...do you know what...what might be wrong?"

Tom sighed, shaking his head. "No, I'm sorry...he may be my twin...but...you know as well as I do that he's not open with anyone, not even me, his twin..."

Chelsea nodded, looking down, "i know...I'm just...worried...he is not normally like this..."

"I know..." Tom muttered, putting an arm around her.

Chelsea turned into him.

Tom slowly stroked her hair.

Chelsea closeed her eyes, trying to stop the tears that wanted to fall.

"Don't take it personally..."

Chelsea nodded, trying hard.
