Burn baby burn.

Sally stared blankly at the cake she had just taken out of the oven.

Charred.

Seraphina had crossed her arms and was bickering with the teacher. As usual. She didn;t understand why she had to do cookery when she would never use it in real life.

Sally just blinked, binned, and started again.

"Can't I join in with the boys?" Seraphina whined. "I'd much rather be doing metal work or whatever it is they do than sewing and cooking and making sure every single one of the buttons are on straight and each sprinkle is at a ninety degree angle to the previous one!"

She was making a scene, she knew it. But she didn't care. She alreayd looked more like a boy than most of the boys.

Sally looked up. She caught the teacher's eye.

"You can go help Miss Sally." The teacher said.

Seraphina walked over, hunchign ehr shoulders and muttering a string of curses under her breath.

"I burnt the first one," Sally shrugged.

Seraphina blinked. And?

Sally gave her the flour.

Seraphina opened it, and upended the whole things over the bowl.

Sally shrugged, passing her a box of six eggs.

Seraphina threw each one in whole.

Sally didn't reacted, passed the butter, the sugar.

Seraphina just put them all in, not bothering to do anythign with them/

Sally passed her the electric whisk.

Seraphina passed it back to Sally, along witht eh bowl.

Sally sat down. Defiant.

Seraphina shrugged, and leant against the wall.

Sally looked bored. As always.

Seraphina started daydreaming.

Sally rolled her eyes.

Seraphina's daydreams weren't normal daydreams. They mainly entailed weapons of mass destruction, and torture.

Sally felt tired.

Seraphina was also wondering how best to turn herself into a boy without surgery. Just because it would be amusing.

Sally stood up.
