This Has To Stop

Kenneth stroked her hair.

Saphy smiled, and felt her eyes drooping closed.

Kenneth kept her safe.

Saphy fell asleep.

Kenneth held her close.

Saphy slept lightly.

Kenneth made not a sound.

Saphy woke up when the sky was clear and the snow was two inches high around them. The stars were bright and sharp.

"We should thinka bout going inside."

"Haven't you ever camped out all night under the stars?"

"No. I get cold."

"I have a couple of sleeping bags in my room in my cupbaord," Saphy said softly, shyly. "And you mentioned body heat..."

"Mm...we could do that...."

"Maybe we should. We could share a sleeping bag..." she said softly, sitting up and brushing the snow off her clothes.

Kenneth sat up with her. "As long as you're comfortable with it..."

"It would be warmer," she murmured, and smiled at Kenneth gently.

Keeneth smiled, kissing her softly before pulling back. "Really. Up to you."

"Mm... I can share," Saphy said shyly.

Kenneth stroked her cheek.

Saphy stood up, windmilling her arms to keep balance on the roof.

Kenneth stood up, steadying her.

Saphy laughed.
"Vertigo. And a head rush."

Kenneth smiled, kissingher softly.

This didn;t really help the headrush. or the vertigo. If anything, it made Saphy feel even more discombobulated.

Kenneth pulled away.
