I am so not going to get there, am I?

Arthur was rushing to along the corridor so he wouldn't miss seeing Sienna. It was nearing the end of lunch break and whereas he had a free next, Sienna didn't.

He was being shouted at by a teacher for wearing his fur hat with ear flaps indoors. Well, he had to tame his hair somehow, right?!

Arthur suddenly slammed into someone, being thrown back and to the floor.

Rupert blinked, wincing, and then looked at who he had knocked over.
"Sorry, kid. I think you dropped your hat."

Arthur's face went bright red and he grabbed it, shoving it on. Then he frowned. He was not a kid! He tried to get up but winced. Somehow he'd managed to sprain his ankle.

"Come on, you need to get to the nurse," Rupert said, hauling the boy to his feet and pulling his arm over his own shoulders. "So, who are you?"

Arthur was as red as his hair. "Arthur Hadden-Foster..." he muttered, Scottish accent thick.

"Stop blushing, Hadden-Foster," Rupert said.

That just made Arthur blush more. "It's your fault for embarrassing me, D'Arcy!"

"Oh, you know me then? Sorry for walking into you."

"Everyone knows you..." muttered Arthur, wincing at the pain in his ankle.

Rupert raised an eyebrow.
"What does 'everyone' say about me?" he asked. "And lean on me!"

Arthur did so, blushing more. "Just the girls, they talk about you a lot..."

"I want the gossip. I never find out anything from my sister."

"Just...a lot of girls have a crush on you..." Arthur sighed. He was one of them...well...not a girl.

"Damn, nothing good."

Arthur heart was beating fast. "Then there's the rumour that you're actually a porn star."

"I did some naked modelling about a month back. Half the girls probably have those posters," Rupert said, eyes sparkling.

Arthur nearly had a nosebleed. "Lovely..." he muttered sarcastically, unable to think of anything else.

Rupert smirked.

Arthur so wished they'd hurry up and reach the nurses.

"Look where you're going, you're about to walk into a lamppost."

Arthur jumped. "You're the one guiding me! I'm injured!"

"You can still see," Rupert said, and opened the door to the nurse's.

Arthur blushed, peeling away from him. "Ugh...the nurse isn't here..."

"Sit down anyway. I need to get to my German lesson."

Arthur nodded, closing his eyes after sitting down. He didn't want to be left alone.
