Frutter Mutter Grumble

Phin had fallen asleep in the middle of the lunch queue, passing out and hitting her head on the metal railing - and then the floor. She had woken up here, and it was dark. She was alone.

In the bed next to Phin was a girl with shortish reddish brown hair and tanned skin. She appeared to be asleep.

Phin rubbed her head and stifled a groan. There was a welt on her head, and wrapped in a thick bandage.

The other girl in the room looked over, her piercing sea-green eyes blinking in the darkness.

Phin's dark eyes were invisible in the darkness. She was cursing very quietly.

The girl rolled her glowing eyes and sat up, cross-legged, slouching a little and looking out of the window.

Phin blinked.

"Isn't it too dark to see anything?"

"The stars." the girl said curtly, not bothering to look at her.

"It's cloudy," Phin said, standing up and picking up ehr bag from under the bed.

"Not everywhere..." the girl said blankly.

Phin shrugged, slipping out of the first aid room. If she fell asleep in the middle of the road, it happened.

The girl slipped open the window, crawling onto the ledge.

Phin circled around to the front lawn infront of the first aid room, wheres he set down ehr rucksack and sat down.

The girl slipped her legs out of the window, dangling them.

Phin put down ehr rucksack and lay down, looking at the sky.

The girl closed her eyes, slowly slipping forwards.

Phin sighed. Damn narcolepsy. It was ridiculously annoying.

The girl slipped out of the window and landed on the roof below.

Phin looked up and raised an eyebrow. Catwoman.

The girl opened her eyes, sitting on the roof.

Phin looked at the stars. The night was cold and sharp, and so were the stars.

To the girl on the roof the stars always seemed...blurred.

Phin rubbed one eye irritably. It was hidden by her fringe, because she couldn't see that well out of it.

The girl sighed, curling up.

Phin lay on her back for a while. She didn't sleep.
