Jeremiah nodded, looking down.

"He...doesn't like not knowing what's wrong..."

Jeremiah nodded again, "I...I would tell him...but...I'm scared of making him think that I'm going to break up with him...or that I don't want to be with him...because I do..."

"Yeah...just...approach it like a joke...like..." Simon thought. "Say something like; You'll never guess what a stupid thing my dad did..."

"I think that this may be a bit too serious to be taken as a joke..."

"Hm..."

Jeremiah looked down again.

"Don't tell him. Tell him...you got a bad mark in a test..."

Jeremiah nodded, "Okay..."

Simon smiled.

Jeremiah looked up at him and gave a slight smile, "Thanks..."

(OOC: I would have thought that Simon would hae asked what Jer's dad did)

"Uh...what exactly did your dad do?"

Jeremiah looked back down and closed his eyes. It was a few moments before he spoke. "He...found a girl for me to marry...and arranged a marriage..."

"Oh f*ck!"

"I...don't really want Tom to know...not until I have sorted it out and canceled it...I don't want him thinking that I am going to leave him and marry some random girl, because I am not..." Jeremiah said quietly. "I am going to talk to my dad and tell him that I am not marrying her or having any arranged marriage..."

Simon nodded. "Sounds like a good plan to me..."

Jeremiah nodded. He just hoped it would work.

"I want my brother to be happy...so far you're doing alright..."

"I hope he is happy with me..."

"Of course he is."

Jeremiah didn't say anything.

Simon sighed. "Suit yourself. Don't trust me."

"I do," Jeremiah said quietly. "When it comes to Tom, you know him a lot better than I do. You're brothers."

"That's doesn't mean I know him..." Simon shrugged.
