Gossiping!

"Have you heard?"
"Heard what?"
"About that Ware girl?"
"Seraphina or Angelica?"
"No, their sister. Evangeline."
"Oh, no, I haven't heard. What about her?"
"I heard she slept with Michael. You know, the totally gorgeous one."
"No! Really?"
"Yeah! Shocking!"
"Scandalous. I wonder what he's like in bed..."

"By the way..."
"Yeah, what is it?"
"I heard that Marshall - you know, "the Hottie" Carson-Jones - has slept with another girl."
"Not surprising."
"Yeah, but still. Who was the lucky girl?"
"God knows."
"I'd have him any day."
"... Same here."

"Hey. Guess what I found out?"
"I give up. What did you find out?"
"Well, look there."
"I - Ooh, it's Simon! Excuse me drooling over him for a few minutes."
"Well, look at him. What's different?"
"He has turquoise hair?"
"No, more than that."
"I don't know. What?"
"Check out his tie."
"I - Ooh! It's blue!"
"He's got a lady!"
"Damn, she's a lucky bitch. Do we know who she is?"
"No, I don't."
"Ask him!"

Simon was looking around for Chardonnay, but he couldn't see her at that moment.

Michael was frowning, sitting grumpily on his own at a table.

Evangeline was holding a tray. She passed Michael, but didn't stop. Or look at him.

Chardonnay was late being let out from English.

Michael looked up and sadly watched Eva walk away from him, his eyes watching with pure longing.

Simon sat down, sighing.

Chardonnay finally got out of English, going to the lunch queue and looking around for Simon.

Evangeline sighed sadly. She wished Michael wouldn't be so cold.

Simon was quite easy to spot with his new hair colour.

Michael looked back down, regretting everything.

Chardonnay got ehr meal, coming over and lightly blowing Simon's hair out of the way.

"Her?"
"HER?!"
"She's his new girl?!"
"Oh the slag, she's wearing his tie!"
"Do you reckon she just slept with him once?"
"Has she had surgery? You know, facelift, boob enhancements...? Nobody can be naturally looking like... that!"
"Slut."
"She's a ginger!"
"Ginger minger!"

Evangeline sat down next to her sister Angelica.

Simon grinned widely and stood up to kiss her cheek, pulling the chair next to his own out for her. "Hey, sit!"

Michael sank into his seat. Alone.

"Hi," Chardonnay said softly, sitting down next to him. "You don't need to get ym chair for me, you know. I have hands," she smiled.

Angelica was trying to cheer up her little sister.

Simon blushed, sort of rejected. "Sorry...I...I was trying to help, you were carrying a tray...so...so I..." he sat down.

Michael felt awful. Plus, no one wanted to sit with him.

Evangeline sighed.
"No use, Angie. I need to face the music."
So she picked up her tray and sat down opposite to Michael.

"It reminds me of when I was a kid, after my Mum died and everyone was overly kind. Bad days," Chardonnay said, sitting down and picking up her fork.

Simon blushed. "I'm sorry, I won't do it again..."

Michael looked up in shock.

"No worries," Chardonnay said, smiling and kissed his cheek.

Eva looked at Mikey and picked up her fork.

Simon nodded. "Okay.."

Michael nodded. "Hey..."

"Hey," she said, and ate a chip.

Chardonnay smiled.
"How are you?"

Michael nodded. "You okay?"

Simon smiled. "Much better now you're here...I've had...a less than okay day. You?"

She nodded. "You?"

"It was okay, I guess. We had a surprise Maths test."

Michael shrugged.

"Ugh...I hate surprise tests...how did you do?"

Eva raised an eyebrow at him.

"I got seventy six per cent," Chardonnay said.

Michael sighed. "I'm a little mixed up at the moment..."

"That's good!"

"Same," she said, and ate some more food.

"Yeah, I was happy with it," Chardonnay said softly. "So why was your day so nightmarish?"

Michael ate some salad.

Simon shook his head. "I couldn't do anything right..."

Eva wasn;t good with words.

"Ouch."

Michael wasn't good with people.

"Yeah..." Simon sighed.

"How you been?" Eva asked.

"Still, can I make you feel a bit better?" Chardonnay asked.
