Hoping with all Hope

Chelsea was at rehearsel, hoping will all her hope that Simon would come. She was scared that he wasn't going to come, and was watching the door, feeling sadder and sadder each time someon who wasn't Simon entered.

Simon finally did enter, looking somewhat in a daze.

Relief washed over Chelsea as she saw Simon and she walked over to him.

Simon put his bags down. "Hey."

"Hey," Chelsea smiled, "How are you?"

Simon shrugged. "Yeah, okay today..."

"That's good," Chelsea smiled, then leaning up and softly kissing him.

Simon's eyes widened and he pushed her away.

Chelsea shrugged, "Whether you go out with me, Lauren or someone else, i will always be your friend and stand by you."

Simon's face was blank. "Chelsea...that's not your place to talk about!"

Chelsea shrugged, "Okay, I over stepped the line." She sighed softly, "I am sorry Si..." she went to the side and sat down on the floor.

"I...I'm just worried about you...I know I'm going about this the wrong way...and i'm sorry...but...I'm worried...you avoid me and not talk to me...and then you kiss me and run of...and then avoid me and not talk to me...I..."

"Just back off, Chelsea! I used to think I knew you as a person! You've changed! You're not the same Chelsea any more!"

Chelsea looked shocked and looked down, nodding.

Simon looked angry. Why had she kissed him?! It was totally out of the blue, unconnected to everything AND irrelevant!
