I Don't See The Point

"You know, why does it matter weather I make sense or no sense, if you make sense or no, whether this converstation makes sense or nosense, whether the purpose of this converstion make senes or no sense, whether making sense makes sens or not mae sense. I asked a simple question"

"This conversation is making no sense whatsoever," Cynthia cut in, now utterly confused.

"EXACTLY!! It is pointless! There is no point! which was my point from the beginning!"

"I thought you said it was pointless?!"

"IT IS!!"

"howcan everything be pointless if you have a point" Edward grinned. "It makes no sense"

"Exactly! it is pointless!"

"I am confused...how did this start again?"

"You right. It's pointless asking you anything when your in the pointless mood about pointless stuff"

Edward turned to Cynthia. "Who is it that he likes?" he asked quietly this time.

Virgil groaned and buried his head in his arms again.

"Someone he is fairly close to, but who only sees him as a friend," she whispered softly back.

"Well that persons stupid. Virgils a nice guy. Who wouldn't like him like that if they like people like that?"

"Well...this guy seems to like cute, sweet, innocent younger guys, who just happen to be-"

"Shut up Cindy!" Virgil cut in.

"Sorry Virgil..."

This reminded Edward of George. He smiled. "Well if I was Virgil, and knew the guy was gay, I would randomly kiss him when we're alone, or just tell him"

Virigil looked up and Cynthia smiled, knowing that Edward had just sealed his own fate.

"What?" Edward asked, confused at why she was suddenly smiling.

"I think that you have just given him some very good advice," Cynthia smiled.

"Oh. Well, thats good then"

Cynthia smiled and nodded, "It is."

Virgil just buried his head in his arms again.

Edward looked at Virgil. "Looks like he's still in a mood then"

"Somethings have a point now, but not much," he said, his voice muffled.

"That means he is feeling better," Cynthia smiled.

"Thankfully"

Cynthia nodded, "He's been down quite a bit recently..."

"What, with boy he likes?"

"Yes..."

Edward just sighed and leaned back.

"So...Edward...WHo do you like?" Cynthia asked with a smile.

"Someone, I think you already know"

"hmm....yes...does he know?"

"DOn't think so. I mean he's straight anyway, so I guess I should just give up"
