Tchaikovsky...

Tchaikovsky was Simon's favourite composer. And as much as he'd like to hide it, his favourite song was Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies from The Nutcracker. It was also his favourite ballet. One which he would give anything to dance in. Not that his friends knew about it! Not at all! Ballet wasn't manly enough for them.
Simon didn't care.

He started to play Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies on the grand piano he was seated at.

Lauren came out of a room after parctice and closed the door after her, music folder in her hand. As she walked, she heard music. Tchaikovsky. Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies. She recognised it instantly. Especially after listening to it so many times while Chelsea practiced the dance for the ballet show she was in. The Nutcracker, one of Lauren's favourite ballet's. She couldn't wait until it was performed and she could go watch it.

She edged closer to the room where the music was coming from. Entranced by the sound.

Simon had his eyes closed, feeling through the music, hands gliding over the ivory keys as though on an automated pattern.

Lauren looked the door and blushed. Simon. She heard him playing quite a bit. Beautiful music. he looked so amazing and wonderful playing it too.

Simon jerked his head to flick his hair out of his eyes, eyes opening and looking down at his hands.

Lauren took a step back, not wanting to be seen.

Simon was getting really into playing it again.

Lauren closed her eyes, just listening.

"Do you like ballets?" Simon asked softly, aware someone else was there.

Lauren's eyes immeadiately opened and she took a step back.

"Y-y-yes...I-I do...m-my friend is-is in one..."

"Which ballet is she in?" Simon asked calmly.

"Th-the...N-Nutcracker..."

"Where is your friend doing The Nutcracker?"

"uh...n-not...can not remember...o-one of the l-leads..."

"No...I meant where? In school?"

(OOC: whoops, that was me reading it wrong)

"Oh...s-sorry...yes...at the school..."

"No need to apologise. What's your friends name?"

"Chelsea Swan..."

Simon stopped playing and turned. "I know her."

Lauren clutched her books to her chest and nodded, a bush tinting her cheeks, "Sh-she speaks o-of you quite a b-bit."

Simon smiled. "Then you'll know more about me..."

Lauren blushed, "n-not r-really..."

"Well, how did she first meet me?"

"Th-through ballet...when Chelsea was ten..."

Simon nodded. "Correct!"
