I Need Help

Lauren nodded, listening.

"I just like the views that the novel expresses... and the emotions..."

Lauren nodded again to show she was listening, eyes on him.

Adrian shook his head. He didn't want to go on.

Lauren gave a slight smile and a nod to show she understood.

Adrian turned to see Brooklyn coming back.

"Sorry I took so long," Brookyn smiled as he entered, a large folder in his hands.

Adrian turned back to his work.

Lauren looked down, blushing. Brooklyn looked between them and then went to his bed, gesturing Lauren over to him.

Adrian was blushing, but was glad his skin was dark enough to conceal it.

Brooklyn looked to Adrian for a moment and then smiled at Lauren, opening his folder, "Right, here some ideas I had."

Adrian couldn't concentrate on his work. He got up suddenly, collecting his books. "I'm going to the library..."

Lauren and Brooklyn both looked up to him. Lauren looked down after a moment, looking a bit sad. Brooklyn gave a nod and a smile.

Adrian flashed a smile at them. "I'll see you both later."

Lauren looked back up at him and blushed lightly, giving him a shy smile. Brooklyn smiled and gave another nod.

Adrian left.

Lauren watched him, then looking back to Brooklyn's work. Brookyn was thoughtful, what had happened while he had been gone?

Adrian had stolen one last glance at Lauren.

Lauren hadn't noticed, though Brooklyn had.

Adrian rushed off to the library.

Luaren and Brooklyn started working.

Adrian came back two hours later.

Lauren was still there. Though she was gathering her things. SHe looked to Adrian as he came back and blshed lightly, smiling shyly. Brooklyn smiled at Adrian, putting away his folders.

Adrian smiled, sitting back at his desk to do work.

"Is that okay, Lauren?" Brooklyn smiled and Lauren nodded, smiling shyly back as she picked up some pieces of paper. "Y-yes, th-thank you."
